  • Sign in to your SolusVM Control Panel.

    •  

    • If you have different kinds of VPS, choose the suitable one.

    solusvm select vps (1)

     

    • Scroll down, and check ‘hostname’, enter the hostname in your text box, present under ‘new hostname’

    solusvm hostname reference change

     

    • Reboot will not be required as the hostname is changed for reference purposes only.

     

    Example hostnames:

    server1.example.com
    hostingserver.example.com

    • Sign in to your SolusVM Control Panel.

     

    • If you have different kinds of VPS, choose the suitable one.

    solusvm select vps

     

    • Scroll down to find a ‘boot’ option

    solusvm boot start-vps

     

    • You will see a confirmation window and click ‘yes’

    solusvm start boot confirmation

     

    It may take a few seconds or minutes and you can reboot the VPS.
