You will only need to make changes If you have multiple domains.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In Directory:<\/strong> If you want to install this in a directory, like testdomain.com\/forums, enter the directory name. Else, leave this blank to install in your main domain testdomain.com<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write all the appropriate information in the <strong>&#8220;Board Settings&#8221; <\/strong>field:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Board Name:<\/strong> Name of the forum<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1427\" src=\"https:\/\/theemailshop.co.uk\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/SMF-install-screen-300x274.gif\" alt=\"SMF install screen\" width=\"300\" height=\"274\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Visual verification image to display: Useful for spam prevention.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board E-mail:<\/strong> The forums e-mail address.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Write all the appropriate information under the <strong>&#8220;Admin Account&#8221; <\/strong>field:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Admin Username<\/strong>: Your new SMF username (Avoid using <strong>&#8220;Administrator&#8221;<\/strong> or the <strong>&#8220;Admin&#8221;<\/strong> username.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admin Password:<\/strong> Type strong password.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Admin Email:<\/strong> Write your e-mail address.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1437\" src=\"https:\/\/theemailshop.co.uk\/forum\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/SMF-install-screen2-300x170.gif\" alt=\"SMF install screen2\" width=\"300\" height=\"170\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Remember your admin username and password or copy that on a notepad as you will be required to add these login details for the access of the admin area of your SMF.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Choose the language of your choice in the <strong>\u201cLanguage\u201d<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>You can choose your native language. English is by-default.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Advanced Options:<\/strong> again, leave it as it is.
